Our departments
Six departments make up the business. Each page shows the purpose, the people, the measures that matter and the systems the team works in.
Fabrication Workshop
Cuts, forms, fits and welds structural and plate steel to drawing in the two Dandenong South bays, from marking out and thermal cutting through to weld inspection, blasting and painting, so that fabricated assemblies leave the works complete, dimensionally correct and documented.
Machine Shop
Turns, mills, bores and grinds components on CNC and manual machines at the Wodonga centre, holding drawing tolerances and surface finish, verifying parts with calibrated measuring equipment and returning them with inspection records the customer's engineers can rely on.
Field Maintenance Services
Plans and delivers shutdown and breakdown maintenance on customer sites from the Gladstone base and the Dandenong works, covering isolation, mechanical changeouts, alignment, site welding and reinstatement, with every task risk assessed and every job card closed with hours and parts.
Quality and Safety
Owns the integrated management system, welding procedure and welder qualification records, calibration, inspection and non-conformance control, and the WHS program including incident investigation, permits, training records and the site environmental controls across all three sites.
Engineering Office
Turns customer enquiries into drawings, bills of materials, cost estimates and production schedules, issues job cards to the workshops, tracks progress and hours against quote, and prepares the shutdown plans and material schedules the field crews work to.
Stores and Logistics
Receives, checks, stores and issues steel, consumables, fasteners and spare parts, keeps material certificates and heat numbers traceable to jobs, runs the tool store and consumable cribs, and organises transport of finished work and site crews' equipment.
